Server Of The Week
Palm Desert Server Ramon Surprised with $1,000 Tip at La Tablita
It was a regular day at La Tablita in Palm Desert—until it wasn’t. Ramon, a standout server at the popular Mexican restaurant, was stunned when Anthony from Honda and Toyota of the Desert walked in to surprise him with a $1,000 tip as part of the ongoing “Server of the Week” campaign.
The surprise took place at the restaurant’s location off Highway 111, tucked in the Red Lobster Shopping Center near Fairway and 111. “Wow. Thank you, thank you,” Ramon said with a smile. “I didn’t see this coming.”
Ramon’s professionalism and warmth impressed everyone at the table. “Amazing service, super kind, really efficient,” Anthony said. “It was an amazing lunch.”
Ramon shared that his favorite dish on the menu is the enchiladas with green sauce, while other favorites include the ala diablo and the rancheros. The recognition not only highlighted his dedication but also celebrated the growing reputation of La Tablita as a local gem.
As for what he’ll do with the money? “I don’t know yet… My birthday’s next month, so hey,” he laughed. Sounds like a celebration is in order.
Ramon has only been with the restaurant a few months, but his impact is already clear. “The customer service is growing every day,” he said. “Thank you guys for coming in.”
Congratulations to Ramon—our Server of the Week—and happy early birthday!
