An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up for Sunday, May 25, 2025!

Once again, on-shore winds will strengthen this afternoon into the evening hours while elevating lots of dust and dirt.

Although that Wind Advisory has been extended through Monday 3a for the San Gorgonio Pass, wind-prone areas in the Coachella Valley will also feel the effects of these occasionally very gusty winds.

Also -- because of elevated dust and dirt -- an Air Quality Alert continues through Monday 5a for the Coachella Valley and San Gorgonio Pass locations

The Valley will be under sunny skies this afternoon with very dry air and high temperatures in the upper-90s/lower-100s. You can expect more-of-the-same for Monday and Tuesday, but with a few bands of fair-weather high clouds.
