Starting June 3, United Airlines passengers flying out of Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) and other airports across the country will need to adjust their travel plans. The airline is enforcing a stricter check-in policy, requiring all passengers to check in at least 45 minutes before their domestic flights depart.

Previously, United allowed passengers without checked luggage to check in just 30 minutes before takeoff. However, the new policy aligns check-in times with the deadline for checking baggage, which also requires passengers to be checked in 45 minutes prior to departure.

This change is aimed at streamlining boarding procedures and minimizing delays. Travelers are encouraged to plan ahead, especially when flying from busy airports or during peak travel times.
