Palm Springs Power open season on Friday night at home

The back-to-back California Premier Collegiate League Champions will take the field Friday night at home to open their 21st season in franchise history. A few milestones are within reach this season when the Power look to win their 700th game. Right now, the Power sit at 678 wins. Additionally, in his eighth season at the helm, Manager Casey Dill will begin the year with an impressive 575 career victories. First pitch is Friday night at 6:30 p.m. against the Utah Lab. Fireworks will follow after the last out. The Lab will stick around for Saturday's game at 7 p.m. And finally, on Sunday, the Power will take on the Palm Springs Police and Fire Departments in an exhibition game. First pitch is at 6 p.m. and admission is free.
