Yvonne Bell Named New CEO of McCallum Theatre

Palm Desert’s McCallum Theatre has named Yvonne Bell as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant leadership transition for the esteemed cultural hub. The Board of Trustees unanimously approved Bell’s appointment, recognizing her extensive experience and deep ties to the arts community.

Bell, who has served as Senior Vice President of Development at McCallum since 2021, brings decades of fundraising and leadership expertise, with previous roles at the Los Angeles Music Center and the Center Theatre Group. Her track record includes raising significant funds for new venues and productions, driving annual contributions, and expanding arts access.

As CEO, Bell plans to build on McCallum’s strong foundation and expand its reach in the Coachella Valley. She aims to enhance programming and community engagement while ensuring McCallum remains a vibrant destination for performing arts.

“McCallum Theatre is a cultural jewel of the Coachella Valley, and I’m honored to lead its next chapter,” Bell said. “The arts have the power to transform, and I look forward to welcoming audiences from all walks of life.”

McCallum Theatre will announce its 2025/2026 season lineup on June 2.
