An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up for Sunday, June 1, 2025!

Southern California will be under clouds today with cooler temperatures and bands of rain.

The Coachella Valley will see lots of clouds which will play a role in keeping those midday highs slightly below-normal in the lower-90s this afternoon. Although the bulk of precipitation will fall to our South and East, a few light showers are still a possibility for the Valley. A few mountain thunderstorms are also likely.

As this system zooms off to the NE, Valley skies will clear on Monday with slightly warmer highs in the middle-90s. The transit of another upper-low will provide gusty on-shore winds in those wind-prone areas around the Valley during the afternoon and evening hours on Monday.

You'll see mostly sunny skies with temps in the upper-90s on Tuesday.
