ABBA Tribute Night Kicks Off New Concert Series in Palm Springs

The sounds of ABBA’s iconic disco-era hits echoed through the Saguaro Hotel in Palm Springs on Saturday night as fans gathered to enjoy the music under the stars. The tribute concert, called ABBA Under the Stars, is the first event produced by Concerts Under the Stars, a new local business focused on bringing exciting live entertainment to the Coachella Valley.

Owner Bernard Scahill shared his enthusiasm about the new concert series, noting that the inaugural event was a resounding success. “We’re really excited to kick things off with ABBA Under the Stars,” Scahill said. “This is just the beginning of what we hope will be a long-running series of great music events.”

The tribute performance transported attendees back to the disco days, with favorite hits like “Dancing Queen,” “Mamma Mia,” and “Waterloo” filling the night. Fans danced and sang along on the lawn, celebrating the timeless appeal of ABBA’s music.

Looking ahead, Scahill is already planning the next event in the series, which may feature a tribute to the music of Frank Sinatra. While details are still being finalized, Scahill hinted that the follow-up concert will bring a touch of classic elegance to the Concerts Under the Stars lineup.
