Due to these conditions, a Wind Advisory and Air Quality Alert will remain in effect until Wednesday morning. • Palm Springs & valley floor: Mid-90s

• Palm Springs forecast high: 86°

• Coastal cities: Mid-to-high 60s—great if you're heading west for relief

• Surf conditions: Waves 2–3 feet, fair conditions

Tonight’s low temperatures include:

• Big Bear City: 36°

• Cabazon: 57°

• 29 Palms: 66°

• Valley floor: High 60s to low 70s

The gusty weather is driven by a low-pressure system moving down from the Pacific Northwest. While it may produce showers along the coast, rain is not expected in the desert. However, strong winds will persist through much of the weekend.
