Free Summer Meals Available for All Palm Springs Unified Students Under 18

The Palm Springs Unified School District is proud to announce its Summer Meals Program, offering free breakfast and lunch to all children and teens ages 18 and under. Running from June 10 through July 9, the program ensures students can enjoy nutritious meals at no cost at select district sites. No registration or identification is necessary — youth simply need to show up and eat on site.

Meal Sites and Times:

  • Desert Hot Springs High School & Rancho Mirage High School

    • Breakfast: 8:00 – 8:45 a.m.

    • Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

    • Dates: June 10 – July 9

  • Palm Springs High School

    • Breakfast: 8:00 – 8:30 a.m.

    • Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

    • Dates: June 10 – July 9

  • Mt. San Jacinto High School & Edward Wenzlaff Education Center

    • Breakfast: 8:00 – 8:30 a.m.

    • Lunch: 12:00 – 12:30 p.m.

    • Dates: June 10 – June 24

  • Desert Springs Middle School, Painted Hills Middle School, Nellie N. Coffman Middle School, Raymond Cree Middle School

    • Breakfast: 7:30 – 8:00 a.m.

    • Lunch: 12:45 – 1:30 p.m.

    • Dates: June 10 – July 3

Additional off-site locations will also offer meals, ensuring widespread access across the district. All meals must be consumed on the premises to comply with program guidelines.

This initiative is part of the district's ongoing commitment to student wellness and hunger prevention during the summer months.
