California Bank and Trust Expands in Coachella Valley with Four New Branches
California Bank and Trust (CB&T) marked a major expansion in the Coachella Valley with the grand opening of four new branches, celebrating with a special event at its Palm Desert location. The celebration featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, remarks from CB&T executives, and giveaways, including coveted festival passes.
This expansion comes after CB&T's acquisition of First Bank’s California operations, allowing the bank to broaden its service offerings in the region. With the new branches, customers will have access to expanded resources, including private banking, wealth management, and enhanced business lending opportunities.
“We’re excited about the future for our customers and the Coachella Valley,” said a CB&T representative. “We’re now able to offer services we previously couldn’t, which means more support for individuals and businesses in the region.”
The bank says the new locations represent a long-term investment in the community and a commitment to strengthening local relationships.

A high-speed police chase in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, came to a dramatic end when the vehicle plunged into Lake Como. Dashcam video released by police shows the pursuit before the car crashes into the water. Four people inside the vehicle were pulled from the lake with no serious injuries reported.
