Meet Tina Turner, a Little Rock Star Ready for Her Big Break

This week’s Pet of the Week comes with a name fit for the stage: meet Tina Turner, a two-month-old kitten from the Palm Springs Animal Shelter, and she’s got the attitude—and the cuteness—to match!

Dan Rossi, Executive Director of the shelter, joined us to introduce this tiny diva. Tina came in with a whole band of siblings, each named after musical legends—so whether you’re into rock, reggae, or pop, there’s a kitten with your favorite artist’s name waiting for you! And of course, you're welcome to give your new pet a name of your own once they’re home.

Tina is already spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated—she’s healthy, adorable, and ready to be adopted now.

🐱 It’s Kitten Season!
The shelter is currently caring for over 100 kittens—many still in foster care, some just weeks old. If you’ve ever considered becoming a foster, now is the time. Helping these little ones grow up in a loving environment is a vital part of their journey to forever homes.

📅 Adoption Event – This Saturday!
Join Palm Springs Animal Shelter for California Adopt-a-Pet Day this Saturday! As part of the statewide event, adoption fees will be waived for all pets at the shelter—including, possibly, Tina Turner (if she’s not snatched up before then—which she might be, so don’t wait!).
