An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Friday, June 6, 2025!

Beginning today -- and continuing into the weekend -- those Coachella Valley will climb from hot to very hot.

An upper-level high pressure center will slowly expand over the Southwest providing lots of sinking air and elevated high temperatures.

The Valley will see sunshine this afternoon with midday temps just above 100°, followed by totally clear conditions with numbers close to 105° on Saturday.

But it will be on Sunday and Monday when we'll experience our peak-heat. That's when Palm Springs will achieve high temp readings at 110° both afternoons.
