Trump Prepping Calif Fed Funding Cancellation

President Donald Trump could be preparing to cancel federal funding for California. It's the latest move by the Trump administration targeting the democratic led state. Agencies have reportedly been told to identify grants that can be withheld. And according to sources at least one committee on capitol hill was told all research grants were going to be canceled. Higher education could also be affected. The move comes after trump threatened to withhold federal funding from the state over a transgender athlete's participation in a sporting event last month. Earlier this year -- the president went after California's handling of devastating wildfires. The administration recently cut more than 125-million dollars in flood prevention funding projects in the state.
