Skydiving Plane Crashes in Tennessee, Several Injured

A small skydiving plane crashed Sunday afternoon in southern Middle Tennessee, injuring several people on board. The FAA says the DHC-6 Twin Otter went down shortly after takeoff from Tullahoma Regional Airport in Coffee County. More than a dozen people were on board when it happened. Four of them were taken to the hospital—one in critical condition, and three listed as stable. Others suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene by first responders. Emergency crews acted quickly to secure the area and care for the injured. The exact cause of the crash is still unknown. The FAA has launched an investigation to find out what went wrong. Despite the frightening scene, there were no fatalities. Witnesses say the plane appeared to struggle shortly after leaving the runway. Authorities are working to notify family members and gather more details. For now, the focus is on the recovery of those injured and figuring out how this happened.
