‘Lilo & Stitch’ Tops Box Office Again as ‘Ballerina’ Debuts in Second

The weekend box office welcomed a new action entry from the John Wick universe, but it wasn’t enough to knock Disney’s Lilo & Stitch remake out of the top spot.

The CGI/live-action reboot held onto the No. 1 position for a third consecutive weekend, bringing in $32.5 million and pushing its domestic total past $335 million. Globally, Lilo & Stitch has now earned an estimated $772 million.

Ana de Armas' much-anticipated Ballerina—a spinoff set in the John Wick universe—opened in second place with a solid $25 million debut. While it delivered the stylized action fans expected, it couldn’t quite take the crown.

Coming in third was Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, which added $15 million to its total. In fourth, Karate Kid: Legends brought in $8.7 million, and rounding out the top five was Final Destination: Bloodlines with $6.5 million.

It was another strong weekend for moviegoers, with both action and family-friendly films driving ticket sales.
