Power Outage Affects Cardiology and Orthopedic Centers at Eisenhower Campus in Rancho Mirage

A localized power outage struck the Eisenhower campus in Rancho Mirage early this morning, disrupting operations at the cardiology center and orthopedic center. Fortunately, all other services — including those on the main campus — remain fully functional and open to patients as usual.

Hospital administrators confirmed that only these two specialty centers were impacted. Immediate efforts to reschedule affected appointments are underway. Patients with scheduled visits at the Eisenhower Desert Cardiology Center (EDCC) or Eisenhower Desert Orthopedic Center (EDOC) are being contacted directly by staff.

“We are working diligently to ensure minimal disruption for our patients,” a hospital spokesperson said. “Our facilities team is assessing the cause and working toward a swift resolution.”

Patients with questions or concerns about their appointments are encouraged to call the number displayed at the bottom of the screen for more information and support.

The hospital has not yet announced the estimated time for full power restoration in the affected buildings, but updates will follow as more information becomes available.
