A residential fire is unfolding right now in Cathedral City.
The blaze is reported at 33356 Sky Blue Trail, near 33rd Avenue.
That’s just north of Dinah Shore Drive and east of the wash.
At least one home is fully engulfed in flames.
Other nearby homes are currently threatened by the spreading fire as well as vehicles.
The extent of the damage or any injuries is still unknown.
Fire crews are actively responding to the situation.
Thick smoke can be seen rising from the area.
