Second Night Of La Curfew Follows "Calmer" Day

Marines will be deployed to L.A. before the end of the week. That news from U.S. Northern command comes as the city remains the focal point for nationwide anti-ice protests. L.A. police say they declared an unlawful assembly outside city hall just before last night's curfew. The police chief says after sunset some people come out with weapons. That's a stark contrast to daytime yesterday. Officials say the vast majority of demonstrators are law-abiding. The chief says police have not yet needed help from national guard members, now, U.S. Northern command says marines will soon be deployed to L.A. Protests also are happening in other cities like Spokane, Washington which had an emergency curfew last night and Indianapolis where demonstrators gathered outside an NBA finals game. Las Vegas say they police declared an unlawful assembly last night. Video shows Seattle police ordering people to leave an area of the city.
