NBC Palm Springs to Provide Live Social Media Coverage of Valley Protests and Military Parade

NBC Palm Springs is expanding its news coverage this weekend to bring viewers closer to the events shaping our communities and country.

In an effort to provide fair and balanced reporting, the station will go live from various protests happening across the Coachella Valley. These live streams will include on-the-ground interviews with participants and will be available throughout the day on NBC Palm Springs’ Instagram and Facebook pages.

Later in the day, NBC Palm Springs will also stream NBC News’ national coverage of the U.S. Army’s 250th birthday military parade. Viewers can watch the event live on the NBCPalmSprings.com website, Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter).

While the station is embracing new digital platforms for coverage, traditional newscasts will continue to air at their usual times: 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 11 p.m.

NBC Palm Springs remains committed to bringing you full, transparent coverage of the day’s events—wherever you choose to watch.
