New Study Suggests Walking Lowers Back Pain

Did you know walking 100 minutes a day could reduce your risk of chronic lower back pain?

According to a new study -- walking for that amount of time may keep you from being affected by disability later.

Researchers conducted an observational study between 20-17 and 20-19.

More than 11,000 participants wore sensors for seven days that tracked their walking patterns.

The team followed up with the group in 20-21 and 20-23, then asked if they experienced lower back pain.

The results revealed walking reduced the risk for chronic low back pain by 23 percent.
