This comes just days after announcing her separation from actor Scott Wolf, her husband of over 20 years.
Kelley said the incident occurred in Utah and involved deputies from the Utah County Sheriff’s Office.
According to authorities, they responded to a call about a woman possibly in distress.
They say she had made alarming comments to both family members and law enforcement.
Deputies believed they were acting in her best interest and for her safety.
Kelley, however, described the experience as traumatizing and said it was done without her consent.
She did not share details about the nature of her hospitalization or any diagnosis.
Despite the ordeal, Kelley says she feels “happy” and “hopeful” about moving forward.
She thanked her supporters and hinted at healing ahead.
