Pedro Pascal Lookalike Wins Burritos and Bragging Rights

Pedro Pascal was reportedly spotted in New York on Sunday—but not so fast.
Turns out it was actually George Gountas, a lighting designer for The Daily Show.
Gountas took home the title at a Pedro Pascal lookalike contest hosted by a Brooklyn restaurant.
And yes, his resemblance to the Last of Us and The Mandalorian star is uncanny.
For his efforts, Gountas won a $50 cash prize and a year’s worth of free burritos.
He told The Hollywood Reporter that his wife and coworkers encouraged him to enter after spotting a flyer.
His wife and kids came along to cheer him on.
Gountas said he was shocked by how many people showed up.
The event drew a large crowd of Pascal fans and curious foodies.
It’s not the first time Gountas has been mistaken for the actor.
But this time, it earned him dinner for the year—and a fun story to tell.
He’s now known in Brooklyn as “Contestant Number Five.”
