An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up for Saturday, June 21, 2025!

Although temperatures may be a bit mild for the month of June, winds will be an issue later today.

The Coachella Valley will be under totally clear skies today with dew points in the 40s and below-normal high temperatures in the upper-90s/lower-100s.

But it will be a disturbance to our North which will play a role in tightening-up pressure gradients over the Southland, providing gusty on-shore winds this afternoon and evening.

A Wind Advisory has been posted though tonight for the very West end of the Coachella Valley into the San Gorgonio Pass and areas of the High Desert.

And because those Northwesterly winds will be elevating dust and dirt, an Air Quality Alert has been issued for the Coachella Valley through early Sunday morning.

Temperatures for the Valley will remain a few degrees below normal through Tuesday. It'll be Wednesday when our highs warm back to those normal numbers around 105°.
