President Trump Confirms U.S. Bombed Three Nuclear Sites in Iran
President Donald Trump confirmed Saturday that the United States carried out airstrikes targeting three nuclear facilities in Iran. In a statement posted on Truth Social and shared with the media, Trump said, “We have completed our very successful attack on the three nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.”
He added that all American aircraft involved in the mission are now safely outside of Iranian airspace and praised the U.S. military, stating, “Congratulations to our great American Warriors.”
This strike follows days of mounting tensions between the two nations and ongoing regional drone activity. Just two days earlier, the White House had suggested President Trump would take a few weeks to determine whether the U.S. would become militarily involved, citing a possible window for negotiation.
Saturday’s announcement signals a decisive shift.
The Iranian government has yet to respond publicly. No casualty details or assessments of damage to the targeted facilities have been released at this time.
