President Donald Trump announced Saturday that the U.S. military has conducted targeted airstrikes on three nuclear facilities in Iran, calling the operation “very successful.”

In a statement posted to Truth Social, Trump said the strikes hit Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan—all key sites in Iran’s nuclear infrastructure. “All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow,” Trump wrote.

He continued, “Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE!”

The announcement marks a major escalation in tensions between the United States and Iran, coming just days after ongoing regional drone strikes and heightened military posturing. Iran has not yet issued an official response to the strikes.
