Palm Springs City Council to Tackle Skate Park, Budget, and Park Upgrades
The Palm Springs City Council is set to cover a wide range of topics during its meeting Wednesday night. The agenda includes everything from ceremonial matters to public facility management and city budgeting.
Among the items up for discussion is the continued display of the POW MIA flag, a new three-year agreement for managing the city’s skate park, and plans to renovate the play ground area at Downtown Park. These updates are part of the city’s broader efforts to maintain and enhance public spaces.
The meeting will also feature a public hearing on the proposed two-year city budget. This hearing gives residents a chance to weigh in on how the city allocates funding for essential services, infrastructure, and future projects.
The council meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. at Palm Springs City Hall. Community members are encouraged to participate either by attending in person or by tuning in live via the city’s official YouTube channel.
