Cause of Death Released for Man Linked to Palm Springs Bombing
UPDATE: Cause of Death Released for Daniel Park, Alleged Accomplice in Palm Springs Bombing
An update to a story we first brought you on Tuesday—officials have released the cause of death for Daniel Park, the man accused of assisting in the May 17th bombing of a reproductive health center in Palm Springs.
According to records obtained from Los Angeles County, Park was found dead in what authorities describe as an apparent suicide. The 32-year-old from Kent, Washington, had been under investigation for allegedly supplying materials used in the homemade bomb that exploded outside the facility last month.
Park was believed to have assisted Guy Bartkus, the main suspect in the bombing, by providing key components used in the explosive device. The attack caused significant property damage but no reported injuries. Federal and local law enforcement agencies have been working jointly to uncover the full extent of the plot.
Authorities have not yet commented on whether Park left behind a note or any digital records that could provide further insight into his role or state of mind prior to his death.
As this story develops, we will bring you the latest updates as they become available.
