Pet of the Week: Milky the Puppy is Looking for Love (and Chew Toys!) 🐶✨

This week on Pet of the Week, Valerie Katz from Animal Samaritans introduced us to one seriously sweet pup — meet Milky!

Milky arrived at Animal Samaritans’ No-Kill Shelter with his mom and two siblings, all rescued from a high-risk shelter. His family has already been adopted — mom and both puppies — and now Milky is the last of his litter still waiting for a loving home.

Milky is still very much a puppy, so he’ll need a patient adopter willing to help him through basic training and puppy antics. Valerie notes that while Milky’s not much of a biter, he does love to nibble on clothing — so make sure your closet is puppy-proofed and you’ve got plenty of toys on hand!

🐾 It’s Raining Kittens! (2-for-1 Special)

In addition to Milky, the shelter is bursting with adoptable kittens in every color combo imaginable. From tuxedo cats to classic orange tabbies, it’s one of the busiest kitten seasons they’ve ever seen.

To help find them all homes, Animal Samaritans is offering a 2-for-1 adoption special — adopt two cats or kittens for the price of one! Whether you want double the snuggles or a playmate for your current cat, now’s the time to adopt.
