Lake Fire Burns 478 Acres, 10% Contained
A brush fire in the San Bernardino Mountains is still burning today, Sunday.
Called the Lake Fire, it began Saturday and quickly spread through dry terrain.
As of this morning, the blaze has scorched 478 acres.
Firefighters report it is now 10 percent contained.
Cal Fire says fire activity slowed overnight, helping crews gain ground.
Teams have been working to strengthen and build containment lines.
Evacuation orders remain in place for Summit Valley, south of Highway 138.

The fire still threatens high-tension power lines in the area.
