As Independence Day approaches, cities across the Coachella Valley are preparing for a weekend packed with patriotic celebrations, live music, and fireworks.

Indio:
The City of Indio will host its annual Independence Day Bash on Friday, July 5, at the Empire Polo Grounds. The family-friendly event will feature food, drinks, live music, and a spectacular drone light show at 9:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to all ages.

Palm Springs:
Palm Springs is kicking off a full weekend of festivities starting Thursday, July 3, with a patriotic-themed kickoff party at VillageFest. On Friday, the celebration continues with an afternoon pool party at the Palm Springs Swim Center, followed by a baseball showdown between the Palm Springs Power and the Power Collegiate League All-Stars. The weekend wraps with a Concert in the Park at Sunrise Park, ending in a fireworks show to light up the desert sky.

Palm Desert:
The City of Palm Desert will celebrate Independence Day on Friday, July 5, at Civic Center Park. Festivities begin at 7:30 p.m. with live entertainment, and the fireworks show is scheduled to begin at 9:00 p.m.
