A new study from New York University finds that cannabis use is hitting record highs among older Americans. Seniors across the country are increasingly turning to marijuana — not for rebellion, but for relief. The research shows a significant uptick in cannabis consumption among adults aged 65 and older, a trend that has more than tripled in the past decade. Experts say this demographic is exploring marijuana for a variety of reasons — from managing chronic pain and insomnia to easing anxiety and the side effects of other medications.
