Hotspot Trivia Heats Up Mondays at Agua Caliente Casino in Palm Springs

Monday nights at the Cascade Lounge inside Agua Caliente Casino Palm Springs have a whole new vibe, thanks to the hilarious and high-octane duo of Deven Green and Handsome Ned. Hosting the wildly popular Hotspot Trivia at 7 p.m., these two entertainers are shaking up the idea of traditional trivia with a game night that’s fast, unpredictable, and full of laughs.

Unlike typical trivia nights, Hotspot Trivia offers eight unique and quirky rounds that could include anything from haunted real estate pricing to regional accent identification and word scrambles. No need to be a trivia scholar—this game rewards quick thinking and a good sense of humor. “If you have a very good education, it will not help you in any way, shape, or form,” Ned joked.

Players use their phones to participate, but the experience is surprisingly communal. “We’re all rooting for each other, which I love,” said one player. And the energy doesn’t stop at trivia.

The fun continues on Wednesdays in Cathedral City, where the pair hosts a digital bingo night unlike any other. Held during happy hour, the bingo features interactive cards with effects like explosions, animations, and even chickens. “We do things you just can’t do with normal bingo,” said Deven.

Both events are part of a summer-long series of entertainment presented by Agua Caliente Casinos. The Palm Springs trivia night and Cathedral City bingo will run weekly throughout the season.

Music lovers will appreciate the musical flair that Ned, who comes from a music background, brings to the table—using unique songs for bingo numbers and even the winners and losers. “We want it to feel like something special,” they said.

The summer fun doesn’t end there. This Friday, July 4th, Civic Center Park in Palm Desert hosts a full day of Independence Day celebration capped by a concert from the Swing Cats Big Band and a fireworks finale at 9 p.m. On Saturday, the legendary Oak Ridge Boys bring their American-Made Farewell Tour to Agua Caliente Resort Casino in Rancho Mirage. And on Tuesday, July 8th, Glenn Rosenblum returns to CV Rep with a Summer Cabaret tribute to Broadway icon Larry Fuller.

Thanks to Devin Green and Handsome Ned for lighting up the stage—and the screen.
