Coachella Valley Lights Up for Fourth of July Weekend

The Coachella Valley is ready for an explosive Fourth of July with celebrations happening across multiple cities tonight, each offering unique ways to honor America's independence.

Rancho Mirage: Agua Caliente Casino and Spa will host its 11th annual Fourth of July celebration tonight, Friday, July 4th. The free fireworks spectacular begins at 9 p.m., with gates opening at 3 p.m. The venue offers 700 parking spaces for those wanting a drive-in style experience. NBC Palm Springs will provide live coverage with anchors Mark Mester and Olivia Sandusky broadcasting the festivities on sister station KPSE (cable channel 20) at 9 p.m., with a re-air on NBC Palm Springs at 11 p.m.

Indio: The City of Indio presents its annual Independence Day Bash tonight, Friday, July 4th at Empire Polo Grounds. This family-friendly event features food, drinks, live music, and concludes with a spectacular drone light show at 9:30 p.m. Admission is free and welcomes all ages.

Palm Springs: A full weekend of patriotic festivities kicked off Thursday, July 3rd, with a themed celebration at VillageFest. It continues today with an afternoon pool party at the Palm Springs Swim Center starting at 3 p.m., followed by baseball action between the Palm Springs Power and Power Collegiate League All-Stars at 6 p.m. at Palm Springs Stadium. The weekend concludes with a Concert in the Park at Sunrise Park, ending with fireworks illuminating the desert sky at around 9:15 p.m.

Palm Desert: The City of Palm Desert celebrates at Civic Center Park tonight, Friday, July 4th. Live entertainment begins at 7:30 p.m., leading up to the fireworks display at 9 p.m.
