An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Sunday, July 6, 2025!

Today and tomorrow, the Valley will be under totally clear skies with highs in the lower one-teens. Middle-of-the-day dew points will hover in the 30s while relative humidity will bottom-out in the single-digits both days.

Next -- as an upper-level ridge of high pressure builds over the Southwest -- Valley high temperatures will climb to 115° or hotter on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons.

Because of this, the National Weather Service has posted an Extreme Heat Warning for a large area of Southern California -- including the Valley -- for Wednesday and Thursday (while most-likely being extended into Friday).
