Grand Opening Set for Desert Community Animal Center in Desert Hot Springs
Desert Hot Springs will soon welcome its first veterinary clinic. The Desert Community Animal Center is set to officially open on Wednesday, July 9. The clinic will be operated by Greater Palm Springs Animal Allies, the same nonprofit that runs the Palm Springs Animal Shelter.
This new facility will provide low-cost veterinary care to local residents—making it the only vet clinic in Desert Hot Springs and one of the few affordable options across the Coachella Valley.
Those interested in attending the grand opening can RSVP at desertvet.org.
Dan Rossi, Executive Director of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter, says demand is already high, and he’s asking for community patience as they scale up services to meet local needs.
