Man Arrested After Coachella Shooting Leaves One Injured

A man is in custody after allegedly shooting another man during a dispute in Coachella on Tuesday morning.

Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call just after 10 a.m. reporting an assault with a deadly weapon. Upon arrival, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is listed in stable condition.

Authorities say the shooting stemmed from a disagreement between the two men. Neither individual has been publicly identified at this time.
