Emergency repairs at the intersection of Country Club Drive and Liberty Street will disrupt traffic on Wednesday until 3 p.m.

The City of Palm Desert will shut down the traffic signal at Country Club and Liberty/Resorter Boulevard during the repair work near Freedom Park. Westbound traffic will be controlled by stop signs, while all other directions will operate in red flash mode.

Officials warn drivers to expect minor delays, particularly for westbound and southbound traffic, and recommend using alternate routes when possible. Motorists are urged to proceed carefully through the intersection and follow all posted signage.

The city apologized for any inconvenience and thanked residents for their patience during the essential repairs.
