Eisenhower Health Honored Among Nation’s Best for Heart Attack Care
Eisenhower Health in Rancho Mirage has been recognized as one of the nation’s top hospitals for heart attack care. The hospital has received the 2025 Silver Performance Achievement Award from the American College of Cardiology, a distinction granted to just 79 hospitals nationwide.
The Silver Performance Achievement Award highlights hospitals that consistently meet or exceed rigorous standards in treating heart attack patients. Eisenhower Health earned this recognition by demonstrating sustained success in providing timely, evidence-based care according to national guidelines.
“Early detection and prompt treatment are absolutely crucial in saving lives when it comes to heart attacks,” Eisenhower Health staff emphasized. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), more than 800,000 Americans experience a heart attack each year.
The American College of Cardiology bases its awards on data collected through its Chest Pain ̶ MI Registry, evaluating hospitals on how well they perform in key areas such as rapid treatment times, medication administration, and patient education.
For Eisenhower Health, this award reflects the hospital’s ongoing commitment to high-quality cardiovascular care for the Coachella Valley community.
