Julie Garnyé Premieres “Stephen by Three” Cabaret at CV Rep
Multi-talented performer Julie Garnyé took center stage at CV Rep in Cathedral City Thursday night to debut her brand-new cabaret show, Stephen by Three. The performance celebrates the music—and her personal connections to—three legendary composers: Stephen Sondheim, Stephen Schwartz, and Stephen Flaherty.
“This is a brand-new show for me,” said Garnyé. “I’m thrilled to be premiering it here in Palm Springs, one of my favorite places on Earth.”
Garnyé has built a dynamic career across stage and screen, including being an original cast member of the first national tour of Broadway’s Come From Away. She is also the co-author of The Stage Actor’s Handbook with Michael Kostroff—a practical guide to professional etiquette in the theater world, with insights from legends like Chita Rivera and Jeff Daniels, who wrote the foreword.
Garnyé recently lent her voice to the upcoming Wicked film in a special ensemble recording session. “It was an incredible experience to sing alongside so many amazing artists,” she shared.
Stephen by Three is drawing strong interest, with only a few tickets remaining for its Palm Springs debut.
