Knives Out Sequel Sets Premiere Date; One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest Returns to Theaters

Fans of the Knives Out franchise have something to look forward to this fall. The latest installment, Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, starring Daniel Craig as detective Benoit Blanc, is set to make its world premiere at the BFI London Film Festival on October 8. The third film in the series will then stream on Netflix starting December 12.

Also making a return to theaters is the Oscar-winning classic One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the film will be shown in select theaters on Sunday, July 13, and Wednesday, July 16. The 1975 film won five major Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Adapted Screenplay. In limited release this month is Mr. Blake at Your Service, starring John Malkovich. In this French-English drama, Malkovich plays a widowed British businessman who takes a job at a French countryside manor in honor of his late wife. The film is expanding to more markets throughout July and will be available on digital platforms starting August 5.
