Canadian Airlines Scale Back Seasonal Flights to Palm Springs Amid Shifting Demand

Two Canadian airlines are scaling back seasonal flight service to Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) in response to changes in demand and operational conditions.

Flair Airlines and WestJet have both confirmed reductions to their flight schedules connecting Palm Springs with Vancouver and Winnipeg. The specific route adjustments and updated schedules are now available on each airline’s official website.

While the cuts reflect shifts in seasonal travel trends, Palm Springs International Airport officials say the destination remains one of the most popular for Canadian travelers—particularly during the winter months when sun-seekers head south.

“We continue to work closely with our airline partners to support Canadian air service,” airport officials said in a statement, emphasizing the importance of Canadian tourism to the Coachella Valley economy.

Travelers are encouraged to check directly with airlines for the most up-to-date schedule information as spring travel plans take shape.
