Dale Fire Near Anza Grows to 1,000 Acres, Prompts Evacuations

The Dale Fire continues burning outside of Anza tonight, now spreading to just over 1,000 acres.

CAL FIRE reports the fire is currently 25% contained. More than 200 fire personnel are assigned to the incident, working to protect homes and structures as the blaze continues to move through the area.

The fire first broke out around noon yesterday near Highway 371. Since then, it has burned multiple structures and prompted evacuation orders for nearby communities.

Crews remain on scene, focusing on holding containment lines and preventing further spread as weather conditions fluctuate.

Residents in affected areas are advised to follow evacuation instructions and monitor official updates from CAL FIRE and local agencies.

The cause of the Dale Fire remains under investigation.
