Animal Samaritans Expands Free Spay and Neuter Services to Unincorporated Valley Communities
Good news for pet owners in the Coachella Valley — starting in August, Animal Samaritans is expanding its free spay and neuter program to include residents of unincorporated communities across the region.
If you live in areas such as Bermuda Dunes, Desert Edge, Mecca, Sky Valley, Thermal, or Thousand Palms, and have valid identification and proof of residency, you can bring your pet to the Animal Samaritans Veterinary Clinic in Thousand Palms for a free procedure.
The offer includes not only the surgery, but also post-operative medication and an electronic recovery collar — all provided at no cost to pet owners.
The Thousand Palms clinic is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information or to schedule an appointment, residents are encouraged to contact Animal Samaritans directly.
