Animal Samaritans Offers Free Spay & Neuter Services to Unincorporated Coachella Valley Communities

Good news for pet owners in the Coachella Valley! Starting in August, Animal Samaritans is expanding its free spay and neuter services to residents of unincorporated cities across the region.

If you live in one of these areas and have a valid ID and proof of residency, you can bring your pet to the Animal Samaritans Veterinary Clinic in Thousand Palms for a free surgery.

Some of the communities included are:

• Bermuda Dunes

• Desert Edge

• Mecca

• Sky Valley

• Thermal

• Thousand Palms
  ...and more.

Along with the surgery, pets will also receive post-surgical medication and an electronic collar to help with recovery — all at no cost.

The clinic is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
