Meta Launches New AI App Featuring Llama 4 Model and Personalized Assistant
Move over, ChatGPT—Meta is entering the artificial intelligence space with its own standalone AI app, powered by the company’s new Llama 4 deep learning model.
The app will serve as a personalized AI assistant, designed to learn user preferences over time and deliver a tailored experience. In addition to text-based interactions, the app will include a Discover feed to help users explore AI-generated content and trending topics.
It also acts as a companion to Meta’s AI glasses, enabling hands-free interaction and integration with wearable technology.
Meta officials say the AI assistant aims to be an everyday tool for information, productivity, and entertainment. As of January, Meta AI had already attracted roughly 700 million monthly active users across its platforms.
The move signals Meta’s continued push into AI technology as it joins a growing field of digital assistants from other tech giants.
