New Psychological Thriller "The Home" Opens in Valley Theaters

A new psychological thriller opening in Valley theaters this weekend promises to leave audiences "shell shocked" by its twist ending.

"The Home" stars Pete Davidson as Max, a graffiti artist who chooses community service at an elderly care facility over jail time. What starts as reluctant custodial work turns sinister when Max discovers something strange happening at the facility.

Director James DeMonaco crafted the film as a return to 1970s-style psychological horror, building toward what he calls a carefully constructed third-act surprise. "I hope they don't see that coming," DeMonaco said of the twist ending.

The film explores themes of aging and family trauma as Max uncovers the facility's dark secrets while caring for its elderly residents.

"The Home" opens this weekend in Valley theaters.
