Hometown Boxer Remains Undefeated in the Ring
INDIO, CA – On the undercard of the sold-out Golden Boy Fight Night: Flores vs. Chaves at Fantasy Springs Casino Thursday night, rising welterweight standout Cayden Griffiths validated his knock-out power with another dominant finish.
A Coachella Valley native, Griffiths left Costa Rica's David Ramirez spitting up blood after a brutal 4th round body blow sent Ramirez to the floor. He wouldn’t return to his feet. Griffiths left the sold-out crowd buzzing, as local supporters continue to show up for the young fighter who is starting to make some serious noise on the Southern California boxing scene.
The 19-year-old is a perfect (6-0) — all by knockouts. Training under world-class boxing coach Joel Diaz in Coachella, Griffiths again showed his maturity and patience in the ring, clear signs that now is the time to remember the name.
