Missing At-Risk 67-Year-Old Woman Last Seen in La Quinta Located

LA QUINTA (CNS) - An at-risk 67-year-old woman who was reported
missing after last being seen in La Quinta, prompting the activation of a
Silver Alert, has been located, the California Highway Patrol announced Late Thursday night.
  

Jeri Chamberlin had last been seen shortly before 1 p.m. Wednesday
near Muirfield Village and Golf View Drive, according to the CHP, which
activated the alert on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff's Office.
  

The CHP announced Thursday Chamberlin had been found, but as is
customary in missing persons cases, where and when she was found was not
disclosed.
  

The CHP established the Silver Alert program to issue and coordinate
alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly,
developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
