A Day Worth Celebrating (Twice!)

Friday, July 25th brought not one but two reasons to indulge. First up: National Hot Fudge Sundae Day – a holiday that apparently likes to make repeat appearances throughout the year. Jerry had to laugh when co-host Manny pointed out they'd just celebrated this sweet holiday recently, but he wasn't complaining about having to indulge again.

The perfect hot fudge sundae? Vanilla ice cream with warm chocolate fudge sauce, whipped cream, and that all-important cherry on top.

The second celebration was National Wine and Cheese Day – a pairing that Jerry thinks should be every day. While admitting he knows very little about wine, Jerry confessed his weakness for cheese, leading to some playful wordplay about getting gnarly when he doesn't get his fix.

The segment featured National Talk in an Elevator Day, encouraging people to break the usual awkward elevator silence. Jerry noted that in the Coachella Valley, with shorter buildings, conversations have to be pretty snappy.

The quiz brought some serious '80s nostalgia with an Aerosmith question about their hits from the 1989 album Pump. The second question took a whimsical turn with a nod to Willy Wonka's magical glass elevator that could go sideways in every direction.
