Dish Detectives: Guess The Restaurant And Win A $100 Gift Card

NBC Palm Springs is teaming up with Dining with the Davids for a new contest called Dish Detectives, giving food lovers across the valley a chance to win while discovering local dining favorites.

Each week, viewers can watch a video on the NBC Palm Springs Instagram page showing three signature dishes from a mystery restaurant somewhere in the Coachella Valley. To enter, tag the restaurant you think it is in the comments and make sure you are following both Dining with the Davids and NBC Palm Springs on Instagram.

This week’s mystery dishes include crispy shrimp tossed in a sweet and spicy glaze with marinated cucumber and a wasabi aioli, seared duck breast served over parsnip puree with vegetables and a blueberry sauce, and a warm butter cake topped with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with a date whiskey sauce.

Entries close at noon on Thursday. The correct restaurant and contest winner will be revealed on Friday morning during NBC Palm Springs’ newscast. The prize is a $100 gift card to the featured restaurant.
